Literature Text

you kissed me
and i floated for days.
tiny wings were
ripping my spine open,
longing for flight.

a let-down,
the lip-lock was like
pressing your mouth
against the rim of a coffee cup:
you didn't think more of it.

in a year, i tongued a guy
not of your stature.
not my taste.
my wings pulled back,
introverted.

:bulletblue: tell me about your first kiss through poetry?
:bulletblue: i remember aladdin and jasmine's carpet kiss and spider-man's upside down liplock with kirsten dunst.

well, the kiss isn't mentioned, but this is the first verse of a longer poem

She was young like me
with a sweet face and manner
and I looked at her
and knew I could feel infatuation

probably I was no more satisfying an experience for her than yours :>)
